researching and personally rebuilding the famous Hurst shifters. This unique
compilation is the first ever book published containing in-depth research on all
types of vintage Hurst shifters and is fully authorized by Hurst Performance.

This volume lists the part numbers of all of the original factory Hurst Pontiac
and Oldsmobile shifter sticks used in Hurst Competition/Plus® 4-speed shifters.
Many reprints of original Hurst Bulletins along with line drawings and actual
measurements for all the 4-speed aftermarket Hurst shifters sold from 1960-1970.
The book is full of little known facts and photographs from the Hurst files when
it was located in Warminster, Pennsylvania. Hurst production techniques
revealed, their numbering systems explained and many original photos from the
Hurst archives are published for the very first time.
Included are over 25 full-size reprints of the 1960s era directions sheets from
the aftermarket Hurst shifters, as well as some original Magazine advertising
reprints.
